Stunt rider:
Jessica Blair Fowlkes

Jessica Blair Fowlkes is widely recognized as one of the most exciting and sought-after specialty act performers in the modern equine industry. Combining high-speed, death-defying stunts with an extraordinary level of horse-to-human communication, she has captivated rodeo and arena crowds across the United States for over a decade.

Jessica’s signature performances showcase two contrasting but equally demanding styles of horsemanship:

Roman Riding: This ancient and highly athletic stunt involves Jessica standing astride her team of powerful grey American Quarter Horse geldings, Wishbone and Waco. With one foot planted firmly on each horse, she guides them at a full gallop around massive arena pens, maintaining flawless balance and shifting her weight as they jump through rings of fire.
Liberty Acts: Representing what she calls the “most humbling discipline,” Liberty work requires her to command and communicate with her horses completely bridleless. Utilizing body language, subtle voice cues and an unspoken, deep bond, Jessica highlights a level of mutual respect and partnership that takes years of patient daily training to achieve.
